Below are instructions on how to complete a CVC Transmittal Report and deposit transmittal reports, event tracking forms, paper pledge cards, and checks to the CVC deposit box.
Step One: Convert any cash into a check or money order and make payable to “Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign”. Retain copies of documents at your agency according to the Library of Virginia retention schedule.
Best Practice – We “highly” encourage CVC Coordinators to use the “Two-Person Integrity Rule”, when counting cash from fundraisers. This ensures that all donations are accounted for and remain secure.
Step Two: Complete CVC Transmittal Report & Prepare Docs for Mailing
The CVC Transmittal Report serves as the cover sheet when submitting fundraiser donations to the CVC. Click here to access the CVC Transmittal Report. Please place each CVC Event Tracking form along with any paper pledge cards or checks from that event after the CVC Transmittal Report.
Step Three: Mail check or money order from the fundraiser, CVC Event Tracker Form and Transmittal Report to the CVC below for processing.
